Though "Munich" won critical praise, moviegoers generally shunned the controversial flick inspired by the 1972 massacre of Israeli Olympic athletes. That disappointment may help explain why Spielberg is returning to crowd-pleasers, working up sequels to cinematic favorites "Indiana Jones" and "Jurassic Park."
